The other guitarist in my band, Dan, managed to get us passes to the 2011 NAMM show, and for free no less. There was a ton of equipment being demoed, and a good selection of performances. These pictures do a good job capturing the atmosphere of the show, but they depict way less than one percent of the total content. This show is huge.

NAMM originally stood for National Association of Music Merchants, but it is a world-wide thing now so it doesn't stand for anything anymore. Just like the AARP ;-)
